I’m an Artist with a BA Honours in Fine Art, specialising in designing and painting direct-to-wall murals and creating personal pet portraits. All my murals are bespoke and inspiration is taken from your ideas, interests and needs through a collaborative process. For a pet portrait all I need is a good quality photo!

Commissions for individual artworks are also available upon request.

A little more about me …

After many years as a primary school teacher I decided to have a complete life change. Initially studying a BA Honours in Fine Art, I undertook residencies at both Special Needs and Primary schools and was introduced to teaching. After the birth of my first son I returned to university to complete my PGCE and become a fully qualified teacher. I have since taught within Greater London and Kent, leading Art as a subject within schools and always appreciating how creative and process driven young children are with their own artworks. 

I enjoy teaching and working with children, however the birth of my second son made me reflect upon my work life balance and it was time for a change and to once again fully embrace my love of art!

Murals have always been a personal passion and I love the creative process of artworks such as this, working collaboratively and meeting new people to create personal artworks for them and their family or setting.

Since setting up Argent Artworks and completing an initial pet portrait for a friend, these are now proving to be high in demand! The feedback from my portraits has been overwhelmingly positive and I am really enjoying capturing these very special companions in peoples lives.

When I am not completing commissions for others I love expressing myself through my own creative process where I allow myself to ‘find’ the images in random marks I have made.

Whatever art I am creating, it provides a place for me to lose myself in the process, forget about the day to day worries we all have and still my mind.
