Pet Portraits

For a personal portrait of your own beloved pet, or as a gift for family or friends, all I need is a good quality photo. All my portraits are created using soft pastels and pitt pastel pencils and have the choice of either plain or abstract background. My backgrounds are created with acrylics and can be inspired by a favourite or meaningful colour to yourself or your pet.

My Own Artwork

I have always been extremely interested in ‘finding’ images through mark making and use this concept to inform my own artwork. Inspired by the ideas behind Rorschach tests, I was intrigued how random marks could be perceived. I use this to give myself freedom to see whatever I want within my marks. This process is extremely creative and is why I love it, I never know what image I might find and sometimes I can see more than one!
